ok, i am 18 now, and i have a job, and i want a credit card.

When my sister turned 18, she got a bunch of things in the mail, but so far i havn't got any (*and i turned 18 way back in october)

so, what should i do? there any good places to apply for credit cards on-line?

it doesn't have to be anything major, but just something i could get gas with when i don't have cash on me, or something i could order stuff with from www.asseenontv.com

CC's are not evil if used correctly. Pay your balance every month. You get extra benefits for purchasing with a CC, such as extended warranty, return protection, theft protection, etc.

They'll take anyone, as far as I can tell. I've been happy with them. Not so happy with my Providian, though.

get cap one, and dont apply too much, it's bad for your credit report... especially if you get several rejections.
