they look sweet, will take at least a year after they are released in order to have a $100 reader widely available, otherwise very nice.

edit:...by available i mean most pc users will have one.

Notebook HDs are already pretty thin. I don't think this will help them much.

Could this perhaps take on the challenge of replacing the old floppy? Not now of course, but in about 5 years.

I think you are right, maybe sooner than 5 years though!....I mean they could easily make a 3.5" Internal drive to accomodate this!

Jeez! I like the sound of those! No need to carry a CD wallet around to other people's house, just your normal wallet with up to 5gb of data!

And I like the fact that you can bend it etc and it won't damage....! :D
