Credit card readers for phone

anyone have any experience with the card reader for phones to take payments for a business? My mom is looking to get one so she can take payments for her business when she is out at shows.

She will have an Android smart phone and needs one that works with that, all i know about them is what ive found on Google. I assume that someone here has experience with them and knows which work better than others

Not much help here, but Square is awesome. Helped a couple of folks set it up a while ago. Nothing really to remember, probably because it wasn't dramatic. It just worked.

I volunteer for a private organization who uses a Square reader for payments - was bummed to find out after I upgraded to my Optimus G Pro that it was not compatible.,...

Works well as long as Paypal doesn't screw up. It can take some time for the app to be updated for a new phone if it is somehow not compatible.

the restaurant i went to last night used the square thing. pretty simple on the customer side. im seeing them a lot more at trade shows as well, they must be doing well with so many different small vendors using it.
