OK, I know it has been asked ad nauseum, but ok, which credit card do I want for college?

Right now I'm torn between the:
Citi mtvUTM Platinum Select Visa Card for College Students
Citi Dividend Platinum Select MasterCard for College Students
And Amex Blue for Students

But I'm ignorant. If there is a card not mentioned here that would be better, please let me know. Ideally, the card would give me cash back for gas/food/ drugs etc. and points that I could cash in for plane tickets. Low APR is obvious. Any help will be appreciated.

do you have any credit history? I was just accepted for the Chase Cash Rewards card - 5% cash back on gas/drugstores/groceries and 1% on everything else. I've had it about 2 months and I love it.

EDIT: BTW I'm a 4th year (going into) college student

What's this "for students" stuff mean? I have the Citi Divident Platinum Select. I like it, same rewards as above ^

Forget about APR. You'll be paying in full every month anyway, right? If you don't, then you would be ahead of the game by getting the card with the lowest APR even if there are no points, cashback, etc. If you pay interest on your balance, there is NO rewards card worth having - the interest dwarfs the value of any rewards.

And keep in mind that it takes a mountain of charges to get free plane tickets. Read the fine print and see how much you'll have to charge to get a free ticket. I bet if you charge $500 a month it would take more than two years to get one ticket.

I would go with the Citibank Dividend Platinum Select.
