i should preface that a couple days ago i got a package of free samples (my buddy and i run a site reviewing new products). the samples were in a tube that had been opened and the samples removed.
twice this week i have recieved "pre-approved" credit card mailings. the outside of the two envelopes are fine except for the area where the fake cardboard "credit card" is. those areas are worn and black as though carbon paper has been placed over them and i can ever read some of the raised lettering on the front of the envelope.
obviously, it doesnt matter because these are fake cards. and any new cards i get i do have to activate..but i was wondering if this was just normal wear from credit card mailings (although i have never seen it before) or if someone is just attempting to grab some numbers/info.
maybe im just being paranoid because of the open package.
