creative X-FI platinum for $149.99 after IR

no, the extra ram version is the fatality which is like $280, and even at that only a couple games even support that right now.

good price after MIR

ok from what i've read, it's not worth upgrading from an audigy to the x-fi
it is worth it if you have a sb live tho.

an audigy 2 ZS or just plain audigy2?

I'm considering getting this as an upgrade from an audigy2 platinum; but for as often as I use the breakout box I should probably just wait for the music edition to go on sale again.

I got in on the old deal, anyways, I got this sound card on Saturday and it was a huge improvement from my on-board sound system.
It's a great card!! And I'm loving every bit of it.

I still haven't unleached it's full potential yet. Anyways, great card and worth every $ if you come from using onboard for literally years.

Good deal, I got mine for 180, from a deal + tax + 2 day ship.

danny~!

I've owned both. Difference: "Day and Night"
X-Fi are now installed both of my rigs.

Hot price on a hot sound card. I love mine!

audigy2 zs platinum
most reviews said mp3 and music playback is much better ( as well as listening using a headset ), but for movie watching, gaming and other items, it's not noticeable enough to warrant the price for the upgrade. If i had money to burn i'd probably get on this, but i don't so i'll hold off a little longer.

Thanks OP, price-matched mine to CC for an extra $5 off 🙂 I've been coveting the front-panel I/O since the original Live Drive. Now I don't have to crawl around the back of my computer just to hook up my headphones!
