I cannot really recommend these if you are into music, but then if you want quality, stay away from computer speakers which cost less than $100 (with few exceptions). For games, these work great. Personally, 4.1->5.1 or 6.1 didn't make a noticeable difference, but from 4.1->7.1, I can feel the difference.

I thought that too. I think we've been spending too much time at the hot deals forums.

Even when I watch movies, I set my volume control at less than half. I really wonder who can bear 200 W of power constantly when the distance between you and your speakers is less than 3ft unless you have power hungry speakers?

I heard these speakers.
These speakers are fine. I dont see why you'd want to fork up 200+ bucks on speakers anyhow like on the Klipsche.

If you're gonna fork over that much, put it into a home theater setup.

These speakers are good for an average room for playing games and watching movies. Very crisp and clear. I hung the satellites on the walls surrounding me and the surround effects are stunning.... I bought these at Circuit City in December price matching with Frys for 74.99 + tax (no rebates).

btw, no hissing at low volumes...

I would recommend this product to gamers/movie watchers......
I would not recommend this to those who would put it in a large living and use it as the main home theater audio system...
