Creative SoundBlaster Audigy is the Choice for AT Readers?

Granted it's the popular choice by most people, but for AT people? I though the general consensus around here is that the Audigy was crap (based on issues with the PCI bus, driver support, and the recent discovery that the Audigy chip is actually the same as a Live! chip, just with different drivers (and a new philips add-on for 96khz sound)). Is this right, or am I missing something?
 
It should be pointed out that poll was launched shortly after the release of the Audigy, when information regarding it was still somewhat limited and few people had personal experience with the card.
If you wish to find out what people prefer now, do you own poll.
 
And the Audigy isn't the same as the Live. I think you'll find lots of people here happy with the Audigy, but people with bad experiences with Creative would probably say the Santa Cruz
 
I never owned a Sound blaster live or Audigy and brought the Santa Cruz sound card because of the best driver support and its very good sound. I mainly use my sound for gaming so i think its really good for gaming sound.
 
why they don't change the poll is beyond me, I guess they are getting lazy with more then just their articles.
