When compared to online stores it is a hot deal, but when compared to eBay it is pretty warm (after shipping).
CC and those retail stores have tax so I factor tax in.

This is a good deal, goes for $163 on newegg atm although sometimes is a sale price for 150 or so. A few games included (Lara Croft Tomb Raider?: The Angel of Darkness, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six? 3: Raven Shield?)

$99 is about the best I've seen. Fry's ran a similar deal about 3 months ago and is running the same $99 price again now. Missed it then but did pick one up this time around. Creative is good with the rebates also.

Sweet.

That's prolly the reason for the massive rebate ($80) from Creative, eh?

I am sure the main reason for this massive discount is because of the release of the Audigy 4 line!

I thought the following may be of some help to someone:

The Pro version of this sound card is availabe for $154 (after $50 rebate) - shipping included from ZZF. I believe the only difference between the Pro & the regular version is an external I/O hub.

Showing as $129 at Fry's online ($199 - $70MIR) currently...[/quote]

Fry's in store price was 169.99 with 70 rebate this weekend. Rebate period good to the 9th, not sure of the in store price at this point

For anyone wanting to go all out, I found another pretty hot deal (in my opinion) for the Audigy 4 Pro (which is the equivelant of the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro) for a not too bad price.

Buy.com - $265.99 - $15 coupon for new cusomters only - $50 MIR = $200.99 Free shipping too.

Audigy 4 Pro

It looks like ZZF also has the card for about the same price after rebate. They start out at $247.99 with free shipping (2nd day even) and also have a $50 rebate from Creative. Comes out to $197.99 total vs. $200.99 from Buy.com. Maybe others have lower prices yet and still have the rebate available?

Link doesn't work.

And, with $50 MIR, shouldn't the final price be $200.99 & not $250.99? Am I missing something?
