Not a thread crap but, FWIW, my experiences with rebates direct from Creative have been very poor. I always got the rebates but not until 5 - 6 months after submitting and several phone calls. They will drag it out forever so just be prepared to wait...and wait...and wait.

damn, i thought it was a best buy rebate. i was almost all over this. i get my BB rebates in 4 weeks usually

i had a creative rebate for the zen jukebox. it came after about weeks! very fast, and I never called once. of course it's different for everyone, but don't let it stop you from getting this card if you want it. it's not like they won't pay you eventually!

It's been a couple of years since I bought my last SB card (SB Audgy 2 Platinum External. $50 or $70 rebate, I recall) so maybe things have improved. But, the last card and the two previous cards tooks months. Also, I am cynical enough to believe the higher the dollar value, the longer they will sit on the rebate. Of course, YMMV.

I bought a SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum from CircuitCity just after Christmas for $199 - $70 Creative MIR and $30 CC MIR. Both have already come back, no complaints whatsoever.
