Anyone who bought one of these cards should have known exactly what they were getting. The information was not hard to find.

Remember, we're getting something for nothing here - this lawsuit might never have happened and we wouldn't have known the difference. Take the coupon, and use it if it drops something to a reasonable price. If not, all you did was fill out a form. No biggie.

just seems to me that in a settlement.. you give those affected something in return.... not 60 bucks off your retail site only (which just so happens to be 60 bucks higher than most other stores)

sure it was just a form i filled out, but why not give a coupon, or rebate... anything other than being forced to purchase from their retail site.

Meh, I got my settlement discount too. BUT HAVE YOU SEEN THE RIDICULOUS PRICES ON THEIR SITE? It costs like 25-50% more than the regular online retail channels. I might as well throw away this discount coupon ID, as it is tied to my email address and all.....

You can only use the coupon on the creative store, everything listed at the creative store is MSRP. With the coupon you MIGHT pay what you could buy it from Newegg, but with the outrageous shipping charges Newegg is probably 10% cheaper. It's a crappy deal and anyone that goes for it has more money than brains.

I tried to use the coupon with an ebay purchase because it took me to http://us.creative.com/shop/cart.asp but they wouldn't honor it so I called Creative to Cancel the order and have received two warnings from e-bay that they are going to leave me negative feedback which would be my 1st @ e-bay after years of being there :disgust:
