I got these on a Newegg rebate deal a while back and just got my rebate...bought it about 2 1/2 months ago.
They definitely are built for quality as far as physical design goes. You get a little desktop volume/bass adjustment thing that's a little fancier than the rest of the creatives as well as a small wireless remote.
The sound quality is very good...the bass is not overpowered like may sets these days although with a good sound card you can still adjust the bass way up (it also has its own bass adjustment). The weakness, or rather not-so-good part of these speakers is sometimes the highs are too strong. But normally they are sparkling...that's the only word I can think of.
