Does anyone have these speakers? Are they any good? I just wanna listen to music and play a few games. I've got Creative 4.1 Cambridge Soundworks which i got back in 1999 and I don't like all the wires it has so I would prefer to go with a 2.1 system...

My motherboard has a digital SPDIF socket too... will these speakers work with it? I haven't seen any speakers that say they take SPDIF connections....? How do I know if they will? I would much rather use something digital than analogue to have a perfect single with no interference. The speakers I have now pick up the police and cab drivers talking on the radio all the time :-\

Actually, the Cambridge Soundworks are the only speakers that I know of that use the SPDIF connection... I know this because I own the 2.1s that I also bought around the fall of 2000 I think, and I have kept them since because they are so clear. The SPDIF makes a subtle, but noticeable difference to me.

However the I-Trigues are very good speakers. Only 80watts so they are a bit weaker than most, but the clarity and bass are good for what you pay, and I really like the design of the satellites. They fit well in small spaces.

If I were you, I would keep the Cambridges and just do some better cable management. The I-Trigues are good but they aren't going to match the sound of Soundworks 4.1s.
