Creative - Great Products, Shameful Support

For sound cards... i swear by Soundblaster... i've had them for a very long time. But i know that i'm not the only one who feels that their techsupport is far below what would be considered good. When i first built my machine i decided to go with a DVD drive and decoder card by Creative cause i figured (good sound card must mean good other stuff). Not true... the drive itself has given me few to no problems, but the decoder card, i'm starting to feel was the biggest waste of money to date. When Using PC-DVD the quality is far worse than if i let my CPU take over in PowerDVD. I e-mail the company asking why this was and guess what.... no response, at all. I want to know who else is having this problem, and tell me how and if they got around it. I feel completely run over by this company and their willingness to help is starting to make me feel a little less than happy. Thanks
