Creative exposes themselves for the turds they are. I haven't bought a Creative product in probably 10 years. My last was a fire-sale SB Live Xgamer a hundred years ago. I will continue my annual tradition of ignoring Creative products.

my bro always used their sound cards...from like sb-live, to audigy/audigy2. luckily he saw the light and started using onboard sound...because there wasnt much difference and it offered coax and optical out.

This was news to me.
Sometimes upper management needs something like this to shake things up a bit before they realize they need to make some big changes.

Big friging hairy deal. When you buy a product, the supported operating system is clearly indicated on the box and in the documentation. There are no promises that it will be supported in the next OS down the road.

My TV card stopped working when I upgraded to Vista. Ennoying, YES, the end of the world, NO.

Creative is not the only company doing this. I would suggest most companies are.

Beside, my other PC has vista and a SB live 24 card and it is working fine with the creative drivers.

My main PC uses integrated HD sound: Asus Maximus Formula. I am happy with it.

yeah everyone is saying its donation. but it DOES NOT MATTER. you can call it whatever you want the fact is eh was doing something that was against the rules.

What exactly is wrong with their drivers anyhow? I haven't had a problem with my X-Fi since they finally resolved the 4GB issue with x64.
