Does somebody know what memory this card (Creative GF3 Ti200) uses, 4ns or slower ? Any good or bad experience with the card ? I'm planning to switch to this card from my current 64MB Leadtek GF2 Ti.
<< lol! creative went out of the graphic card business! the last card they had out was a geforce2ultra! silly, newbies😉 >>
Nah, it's actually you who are wrong (I won't use the n-word). It's true that Creative doesn't sell graphics cards in the US any more, but in other parts of the world (Europe at least) they still sell gfx cards. Here a link to the graphics cards a danish web-shop has, look under Creative, they even have a Ti500 card. Who laughs now?
my creati200 for some very strange reasons 🙂 appear to be stable at 210/550.
and appear more strange cause the memory heatsinks aren't attached well to all the chips (the chips in the middle aren't in contact with the hs).
@ 575 the card is stable in certain games, but will freeze in 3dmark2k1.
the card is manufactured by microstar and shouldnt be available in us, but only in european and asian market

<< Yeah, more info about this "thing", please. Anybody hwo removed the sinks on the mem?
3d-mark 2001 result? Is teher any DVI? >>
From this Link you can find general info about the product. Strange thing, although card has DVI connector, they don't mention it on webpage. But as it's produced by MSI and it looks exactly like MS-8851 which has DVI we can guess that Creative should have also working DVI connector.
I hold one sample for couple of hours and managed to run some 3dmark tests. But as this wasn't my card I couldn't remove the heatsinks from memory chips.
Do anybody really know what memory this card have? What brand? What speed? 4 or 4.5ns?
Is there anybode that have thois card that DONT reach at least 210/480?
IF creatives card is manufactured by MSI and that this car is the sam as their ti200, there is a review of the MSI card that can enlight U: http://www.amdworld.co.uk/ti200.htm
Anybody else with this VERY pricy card WITH DVI hwo can tell about ther OC success?
my creati200 has dvi and also tv-out as you can see from this shots
@210/550 seems stable, @210/575 i have occasional locks in 3dmarks2k1 (work fine with other games)... and this make me think i have at least 4.0 (3.8?) ns chips.
(as already pointed in my previous post, the heatsink *aren't* fully in contact with the mem)
OK, thanks. I've seen the pictures. The DVI is very coolt at a card @ this price. The mem seems to be a good brand and 3.8 or 4ns??? Mayby this is the best card for the price?
Yes, maybe it is🙂
But have you really thought about Daytona and PoV?
All posts I´ve seen on SWEC regarding the Daytona were very positive.
Is the difference between the two cards really worth 300 kronor?
