Creative Geforce FX by January?

"Interesting occurances at NVIDIA seem to be typical of now-a-days. Today TheInq has reported that Creative will have retail cards on shelves in January - this is for sure an interesting one since we have not even seen our FX sample and we know we are getting one of the first in to the UK. We have been told early Janurary for our samples... "

wow... 500 beans is a lotta loot. but i remember when intel's latest and greatest cpus went for $1000 (non-xeon)

Well the $500 is supposedly for the ultra model, so the reg. GF FX should be a bit cheaper.... maybe $399 MSRP, so probably $350 or so shortly after launch.

As always, the best thing to do is wait just before the launch of ATI's and nVidia's next generation of cards and then the ATI RADEON 9700 PRO and the GeForce FX will be affordable to us.🙂
