The picture illustrates the latest innovative cell tower being installed by Verizon in an area of Tucson where dwellers are picky about their views.

I really admire such imagination. 🙂 Any other innovative towers out there?

You miss the whole point. The entire saguaro cactus is synthetic - nothing is ruined, except possible the beaks of the Gila woodpeckers that try to build a nest hole in it. 🙂

there are a few tree towers in tempe. the first time i saw the one on rural and baseline i thought it was odd to have a block wall with spikes on top around a tree. after a few trips, i realized it was a tower and it made more sense. my kids told me it was a fake tree before i realized it was a tower hehe.

We have some cell towers up in the Adirondaks that look like pine trees. Also saw some as I was driving down through NJ that looked like pine trees.

I wish they got more creative with the ones in NYC. We usually just see a ton of antennas sitting on top of a roof. How about arranging them as a reinterpretation of the ubiquitous water tower?

Yes, NJ has the fake pine trees in some areas. If I remember, I'll take a pic today.

Turns out there is a growing business in this area.

Towers

I also found one near the coast disguised as a lighthouse!
