In store only, pretty good deal if you missed the ones from ZZF last month

Act fast if you want it though, the 2 stores near my house are out of stock already :|

The price is dropping. I guess I'll wait b/c I already got the Audigy 2.
But great deal, never the less.

I keep waiting for CC to drop the price of the Audigy 4 they have on the shelves. Its currently at $75, but they keep advertising that blasted Audigy 2 notebook PCMCIA card !! A better deal on that Audigy 4 and I can finally burn off my CC $25 GC. The X-Fi is a much better card, but I just don't have the extra scratch to afford that card.

damn the pricing are coming down for these cards....i own one of these and they are pretty damn good...are these the latest revision?

The Audigy 4 was 50 bucks at my local circuit city over the weekend (when I went in to find an X-Fi). Head into a store, it maybe just as cheap for you.

I broke down and got one. The question is how can you tell if it's the later revision that fixed the problem with the NF chipsets. I got the NF4 chipsets.
Thanks.

If I remember the original reviews I read way back when, it still resamples, but does it well enough now that it does not reduce quality to any degree you'd be able to notice audibly (at least according to the reviewer guys).

Some how the music does not seems to be as good as my old Audigy 2 with the X-Fi drivers.
I will test the games to see tomorrow.

From what I can tell the newer revision of the card has a heatsink and the older one does not. The one I just picked up yesterday at Circut City has the heatsink.

I also got lucky and picked up an aluminum external hard drive enclosure for $15.00, no rebate. Someone must have gotten lazy because the sale for that item with a $25.00 rebate ended a few days before but the advertised sku was still on the shelf so the manager gave it to me at the after rebate cost!
