Creative Audigy Drivers

I am on WinXP and I would like to know if I can install the drivers without the need of inserting the Creative CD. I don't really like those Playcentre etc.. So are there anywhere to download the drivers?

I tried but can't. It says on the website

This is a driver update for the Sound Blaster Audigy Drivers for users running Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
This release includes:
*It is WHQL certified
*It has been tested on Sound Balster Audigy (Model SB0090, SB0092 and SB0162)
Note:
Please ensure that the Sound Blaster Audigy card,PlayCenter Ver. 2.20 or above and the Installation CD are installed before running the patch AUDRVWDM.EXE.

Anyway. Thanks. I guess got to use the CD to install for my 5.1 speaker.

Well, I can but the main reason why I don't want to install from the CD is not because of troublesome but rather Creative will install the CD Detector! When I disable the Creative CD Detector, it will no longer auto play whatever CD Iput in. I also don't want that CTNotify.exe or Ctsvccda.exe file...

SD,

You didnt' have to install all that other crap to update to the latest drivers?

Because, Creative says you have to have all that other crap installed.

For the Audigy, the minimum that you need installed are the AudioHQ and Creative Mixer.

If you select a Custom installation, NONE of the other programs, except for the two I pointed out above, need to be installed.

Once you have installed these from the CDROM, you are free to upgrade to the latest drivers for WinXP from Creative. The downloaded drivers also include updated versions of AudioHQ and Creative Mixer.

I disabled my Creative CD Detector and WinXP still autoplays with no problems.
