SO... I finally got my own apartment at college, and going to Walmart of course, for my food, but I know I'm gonna get bored buying the same food all the time...any nifty dinner creations you guys know of that are easy to make?

Thanks!

Pasta is easy as crap to make, you can add meat, chicken, veggies... anything to it and it tastes good and is cheap

Pasta + Chicken + zuccinni/squash + some dill and feta cheese = excellent

Macaroni and cheese.

Pasta mixed with meat with cheese topping. Some kind of half-assed ravioli or lasagna. I tried this a bit back; if I didn't make the meat so bland, it would have been great.

Creative and cheap?

Pasta noodles, any kind.
Wet cat food.
Sour cream.

Not too expensive and pretty creative.

Not very tasty though.

Pork, chicken, ground beef, etc. Throw some spices on them and cook them in some way. Toss in a few vegetables and you got yourself a cheap meal that isn't crap.

Ground Turkey with some Blue Cheese crumbles and garlic mixed in with a touch of Worcestershire sauce.

Mix well and toss on your grill.

I usually get 4 burgers out out of a pound of ground turkey.

Find some recipes for Panini sandwiches.

Pita Pizzas are easy to make...just some whole pita flat bread, sauce, cheese and what other toppings you want. Toss in the oven for a few.....cheap easy and a perfect serving size for one person.

You can use the cans of biscuits for this too .... usually they are cheaper than bagels and english muffins :)

I recommend Zatarans Gumbo mix and Jambalaya Mix .... Easy to follow... just add meat and water ... tasty ... (I usually add some garlic, onions, peppers, and okra when I make it, as well as at a minimum chicken and sausage, and usually shrimp too ...) much cheaper than going out and food is quite tasty ....

Gin and Tonic, Capt Morgan's Rum and Coke, Cheap Vodka and Rose's Lime juice = Vodka Gimlet. Blender dinners, Frozen lemonade mix, Vodka or Rum, strawberries, powdered sugar, and ice in a blender; 1/3 Orange Juice, 1/3 Half and Half, 1/3 Gin, powdered sugar, and ice in a blender = Ramos Fizz.

For breakfast or lunch any of the above. Ramos Fizzes, Bloody Marys and champagne are very good for breakfast.

watch your gut, though. ;)

Pasta is definitely a good place to start. It's very inexpensive and filling and you can make a ton of different tasty sauces cheaply and easily. You make the sauces different enough and you can eat it several times a week without getting bored because it always tastes like something new.
