I got that card (PCI) from my buddy and drivers (for free). I put it in my Pentium 2 with an old Matrix MX200 (i dunno really what it is, but its also PCI and has 2 Megs Ram) I cant play CS so well. I have to use the 3dFX OpenGL mini driver to play CS. Its on windows 98se with DirectX 8.1. But it wont connect(to server) with directx, NOR the software it only work at 640x480. I also want to know if there is updated drivers I can get for it. Thanks you guys.

Aight first off... Yes, you need to use the MiniGL driver from 3Dfx to play CS with a Voodoo2 card. It doesn't support full OpenGL, thats why you gotta use the MiniGL drivers.

Second, I wouldn't expect it to maintain a high frame rate, cause its an age old card on an age old computer.

Finally, your video card and/or video mode (OpenGL, MiniGL, DirectX) has NOTHING AT ALL WHATSOEVER to do with your computer connecting the a CS server...

Oh and also, go to www.voodoofiles.com to get the latest drivers... the latest ones are years old now though... that card is no longer supported cause 3Dfx is gone.
