Creative 3D Annihilator 2 HELP!

I am having trouble getting my Creative 3D Annilator 2 to work w/DIABLO II (although DIablo doesn't need 3d , when i enable it after the video test, the screen goes black after i try to enter the game.
Yes i also downloaded the new drivers, the nvidia direct3d drivers...unreal tournament (requires 3d) works, but strangely DIablo II does not.
Should i just run diablo II with 2d ?
I am worried if this might happen to my other 3d games.
Are there any test i can do? Thanks for ur help guyz!

have you already downloaded the patches for the game? Diablo 2 would not work in my win2k system until I have loaded the patch. Another thing you might want to try is downloading the compatibility updates from Microshaft...use the Windows Update deal under the Tools menu in Internet Explorer.
