As a lapsed christian, evolution. Back when I was a christian, evolution (theistic, but still agreeing with scientific evolution in terms of mechanism etc.)

As a way for the world around us to come into being, evolution makes an awful lot of sense. I never saw and conflict defining evolution as the means of creation so I see no necessity for the 'or' in the question.

Just curious as to the percentage of people here that embrace either "theory."

Bias poll.
Biased towards what?

If you can't see the bias in your poll, you need help.

What if you don't believe in ANY of thoes three ideals.
Two of thoes three takes in account that THERE WAS A CREATOR.
The last one says that there in no way is there a creator, and it is quite condescending at that.

This is hardly a good thread, it's just the normal crap flame bait fodder we come to expect from dimwits like you.

No personal offence meant.

Evolution. The existance of "God" cannot be proven in any way, yet the proof that we evolved from (apparently) lower forms of life can be proven. At one point in your families history, it was something similar to an arangitan.

If you don't believe the slightest bit in evolution, what exactly are you doing on a computer?
I think you're picking stuff that suits you.

I believe God is embodied in the universe, and that he created the super-matter that expanded in the Big Bang and created the Universe we know today.

What? I just made it up. It was highly-condensed matter, so I guess it could be called "super".

That's what I love about evolution. I just made it up.........nice.

Sorry for messing with ya, I just couldn't help it.

Because it was the most retarded, offensive mouth fart I've smelled today.

The poll's not biased but your remaining brain cells are.
Here, I'll break it down for you. We will keep track of wether it supports creationism, or not.

Creationism. God created earth and the heavens.
Fairly straight forward, one point for the support of existence of god.

Evolution. My uncle Earl's got tree frog dna, he does cool tricks.
Evolution, with the implied fact that god did not create "the heaven" or the earth. Something else created it. Also, a nice little uh... joke thrown in at the end. Seems like a hick joke, or mabey a "you arn't as smart as I am" jokes. 1 point for the Non-creationist idea.

A mix. Evolution is a valid principal created by God.
Ok, well, this option says that it supports evolution, but it was created by god. So, this option supports the creationist theory.

So in the end, we have 2 for the creationists and 1 for the non-creationists. Only one of them has a weak joke attached to them!
Wow, yea, and I spew "mouth farts".

I think your bible or other scripture has a hole in it from thumping it.

I'm agnostic, genius. And the last choice is a mix of the two prior, validating both sides. Ergo, 1.5 for creationism and 1.5 for evolution. For the record I chose evolution.

No, the last choice would support that god created everything. Since he created the universe, he also created our solar system, our planet, our system of living. Evolution would be a system that we live by, thus created by god.

Though I can see what you are trying to say, the third choice still implies there is a creator.
There should be at least a 4th choice that says, I believe in evolution, but not in the idea of a creator.

Sammy, you're an idiot. It's not loaded, it's 1.5 for each.

It's the only way to logically combine the two...have a god create things that evolve, makes perfect sense.

I, however, voted for the pure evolution!

I'm speechless.
