Is there a way to rip a cd to mp3 via the OSX by not using iTunes and their AAC format?
I am coming from windows where I used the lame encoder and EAC. I am assuming EAC and lame are windows only and have yet to search to see if they are compatible with OSX.
Ok, I just looked in the iTunes library and the mp3s are stored in a directory structure similar to what I use on my fileserver. Artist name/Album name/Song name. I think I will try to use iTunes rather than Max next time, Max doesn't get the cddb info like CDex does. I have to type in all the info myself, including id3 info. 🙁
