creating log file for open file access winxp

I have a wireless network setup @ school in my apartment. There are 4 computers all running windows xp. We all have shares and I'd like to create a log file so I know what files the other users are grabbing from me. I was doing alot of searches on the web and none really seemed to help me out. I believe this can be done with some editing of gpedit.msc and possibly with auditing enabled? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I also have one other concern. I'd like to be able to monitor network traffic of my router (linksys wireless 802.11b router). For example I'd like to be able to see who is consuming all the bandwith and on what ports.
