creating image file on a shared folder

hi

i have a wired network with 3 pcs and an xbox connected to a dsl router

all the pcs logon automatically as administrator

one of the pcs has a shared folder which can be accessed from other pcs and xbox-there is no password for shared folder and files can be changed/deleted etc.

i'm having trouble creating disk image files in the shared folder across the network

i've tried a couple of boot cds and acronis true image boot which should work but i can't access the share from the other pcs

any help appreciated thanks
