Creating dead pixels to create a returnable LCD

I intend, personally, to get mine from a retail outlet and check before I leave. But I wonder if anyone has resorted to this in the past?

Lol. I am not doing it for illegit purposes. I have a healthy fear of jail and don't plan on risking it for fraud. I just wonder, perhaps the highly technical section is right for this, if it was possible. The dead pixels get there somehow...

I couldn't find it in the search or advanced search question. There are threads for trying to remove dead pixels, and threads for complaining about dead pixels, but none for creating them in the first place. I'll check this though! Thanks.

Checked the other thread, had seen that one actually. 3 years old and no answer to the question.
