How do you do that if you don't have mysql installed on your computer? Invision board requires access to a "mysql database" on your webhost. How do i create one?
 
Are you hosting the site on YOUR OWN LOCAL machine or who is your webhost and what control panel are you using?
 
if you use cpanel, there's usually a link to manage your database. If you have ssh access, you can type "mysql" on the cmd line which will initiate the client. If the client is there, it's safe to say that the server is too usually.
