Why do you have to play 5 inches away from the screen...? With a bigger screen, you don't have to.
i just do. i even did it when i hooked up my old (and gone) 360 to my pc monitor. it makes my game more immersive.
Why do you have to play 5 inches away from the screen...? With a bigger screen, you don't have to.
Do you realise that a big 30" screen at a longer distance fills as much of your field of vision as a small screen at a shorter distance?
You never answered WHEN you are building this computer.
I would take that $5,000...
Apparently he doesn't even have the money yet, so I guess my time was wasted.
There should be a new thread for "If i actually had any money this is what I would want"
I would take that $5,000 and put $3,000 into savings. Im building a $2,000 machine right now that obviously wouldnt be able to out perform what you are wanting now, but I can take that 3 grand in two years and blow your machine out of the water.
The trick to me saving all the money to purchase such a system is to stay hyped up about it. Then, when there comes a better system I can build, I can get that instead.
This doesn't make any sense to me.
This doesn't make any sense to me. Why not just build a reasonable $1K machine that can blow away any console in terms of graphics (The Witcher 2 anyone?). That way you don't have to wait to save up a large sum of money.
I'm getting a gaming laptop first. Then for when i get a chance i will get the rig. Just need to make sure Im settled before I get the rig.
Why the long face Zap?
I was just assuming that the hexacore was better than the quad core but you guys are saying thats not true until the hexacore becomes sandy bridge or newer gen.
Correct. That's like saying the 6 cylinder engine in a Camry gives more performance than the 4 cylinder engine in an EvoX. Uh, no.
Well thats a kind of unfair right there because you would be able to tell what would win from the get go.
What are you talking about? You can't tell whether or not an Evo or Camry would be faster from looks alone. You either have to race them or have outside knowledge.
^ Exactly. It'd be easier to plan what to build when you're actually going to build it
This gives me the decision to either choose the same thing I wanted, or to, for the same price, get the newer equip.
if you cant tell the difference from the outside, knowing that you can tell one is built to be faster and one is built to be a passenger vehicle, or even by specs...then you must be crazy.
With outside knowledge: "The Evox was built to be more aerodynamically designed than the Toyota Camry. Also note that the 4 Cylinder engine that the EvoX was built for racing and motorsport, but the Camry's 6 cylinder engine is built for everyday needs such as going to work, and going grocery shopping."
Without outside knowledge: "DOOD! Dat EvoX looks swagger than dat Camry! Eet muhst beh fahhhsssttaaa!"
See?
Thank you for proving my point. In case you forgot it was "you can't tell whether or not an Evo or Camry would be faster from looks alone".
note the uneducated answer.
Well thats a kind of unfair right there because you would be able to tell what would win from the get go.
