creating a Bart PE boot disk

i was wondering if i can use a windows xp home *upgrade* disk to set up the bart PE boot disk. i know i need the install cd for windows... but is there a difference in files between the windows xp home upgrade and plain ol' windows xp home? there is about $100 worth of difference... so im afraid what the answer will be...

Pick up a copy of the November 2005 issue of "Maximum PC." On pages 54-55 is a step by step, illustrated process for creating the BartPE bootable CD.

i have the subscription... that's the main reason i've posted this... will an upgrade cd have the same files as an installation cd?
