I find just dumping a 5 gram scoop in my mouth and then washing it down with apple juice is the most convenient way to take it. I dont think that is true about the pills BTW.

Fiction.

Decent article... not directly related to the pill form, but talks about a lot of the myths surrounding it.

yeah just stick with straight powder. Never use liquid... and I feel there is not a need for loading. Also I prefer Pfhanstiel (sp?) creatine.

Personally, when bulking I just get a tub of the powder and some bulk dextrose/maltodextrin. Very cheap and very effective for its intended use.

Yep

I mix it in with my protein shakes, that way it doesn't all sink to the bottom like sand.

Pill, powder, liquid, etc., it's all pretty close, just make sure to spike your insulin levels in order to absorb creatine. It needs a carrier and insulin is the best. FWIW, pills usually cost a bit more so you might want to go with a preloaded (sugar already added) powder. Just my opinion.

When I took it, I would take 3-6 large heaping tablespoons, twice a day when loading... I would hate to see the size of those pills.

This has come up before, but the creatine serum is a scam. Creatine is totally
unstable in liquid form. Bill Phillips first published independent lab tests of
the serum in Muscle Media. It showed that there was less than one gram of
creatine in the *whole bottle*. AST has also had the serum analyzed. They tested
several different lot #s and came to the same conclusion - barely any usable
creatine in the bottle, and lots of the waste product that occurs when creatine
breaks down (like when you put it in liquid).

ConsumerLab also did independent lab tests on creatine and both liquid products failed. One contained less than 1% of the claimed amount of creatine and actually contained more creatinine contaminant than creatine. In addition, it did not follow FDA labeling requirements, including making the unapproved claim "BUILDS LEAN MUSCLE MASS". The other liquid product was also contaminated with creatinine and contained less than 95% of its claimed creatine.

WTF, just mix a spponful of it with grape juice, how inconvenient is that? I use those little boxes of juice you get in the Supermarket. If you are worried about the calories those boxes have only 100 claories in them.
