Question Create 'recovery drive' in Windows 10/11

So it appears that if a PC is not a pre-built OEM system that ships with preinstalled apps and drivers from the PC maker (via the OEM's customized WIM or ESD images), there isn't much point to using that 'Create Recovery Drive' feature in Windows 10/11. On a system that has none of the OEM customizations (e.g. performed a clean install of Windows or has since been upgraded), it doesn't backup or restore anything but Windows. Might as well just download the latest Windows install bits or ISO and create a USB install drive, it will do the same thing including offering all the same repair options.
