Go figure that two dads with two infants are up at 11:30 posting on ATOT. Check out the 2nd vid. Ridge racing . . . aka idiots racing down mountain ridges on bikes.

Dude, I'm not even tired. She went to bed at 7 and will sleep until 6. Meanwhile, now that the baby is sleeping, I'm just up doing stupid shit!

I got to the gym today for the first time since my surgery and promptly smashed my thumb. My spacebar thumb!

I'm wicked jealous. Between my son and my daughter, I'm up at least half the night.

I'm sure it won't last for us either. She's 4 months now, teething must come soon. Since we'll probably have a 2nd, I have to ask (and probably don't want to know) - who's getting up more, the big guy or the little girl?

Depends on the night. Yesterday it was my boy. He was up at 4 AM and wanted to watch scooby doo. I should have never bought him that damn DVD. Side note - every episode of Scooby Doo is the same!

To be fair to my son, it is usually my little girl who is keeping me up. She has two teeth coming in and is drooling like a St. Bernard. Interestingly, her first two teeth are in the same spot as my son's first two teeth (lower middle).

Teeth usually show up around 5-7 months. Hope your daughter has an easy time of it. Stock up on frozen waffles. They help.

Speaking of your daughter, I can't believe I still haven't seen her. Will have to rectify that soon. I'm gone this weekend (down in DC), but lets try to set something up for the following weekend. Ok?
 
Nice choices, I can spend hours there just pressing "random"..that is one huge wave, must have been 50-60 feet easy and those kids on the bikes, too bad they didn't have an HD cam, that was nuts some of the ridges had sides that were hundreds of feet down if one of them had wiped out..

Yeah, that's exactly what I did last night. Got a lot of repeats and some duds, but most of the vids on that site are very cool.

I didn't see a lot of native vegetation that could grow in that environment and I doubt too many other riders will have the balls to take those ridges on..

It's not just bad for the vegetation. The rain will wash that loose soil into the creeks and rivers. Fish live there and children play in creeks and rivers. Won't you think of the children?
 
I dunno.. the RC plane is cool but a lot of the maneuvers he does seem to essentially turn the plane into a helicopter. So it looks amazing compared to what we're used to (real planes that can't do that)
