Is there a direct link? It doesn't seem to work for me.

edit:got it to work.

Why is the fuel being sprayed from over the top? Is that normal? I thought in (road going) cars it was sprayed directly into the piston chamber (note: I don't know much of the mechanics of an engine).

most fuel injected engines, the fuel is injected into the intake ports or intake manifold

only some new direct injected engines spray directly into the cylinder (Audi's FSI..i think BMW has the technology too...some Nissan engines in Japan), It requires a much higher fuel pressure and more precise injectors
