Now you have just insulted everyone who posted in your uselss thread, including the ones who were on your side. Now it's so obvious that you were just looking for validation of your shameful viewpoint. People like you are why it's so difficult for honest people to live. We constantly make up for your theft, rewarded only by conscience. Enough for me, but not enough for me to not let you know it.

I think people who stick other people with their own phone bill should be tortured. I was stuck with a jackass roommate's $220 phone bill(though, I didn't have your roomie's gayass charged-by-the-minute local calls). I'm still annoyed about it years later. I mean... He shoulda had a better plan(for 3 damned dollars more), but come on man. Offering to pay $40 of a $700 when you know it was your local calls that made it so high? You're as lame as your dumbass roommate.

He should be able to get the bill lowered.

I had an unlimited local phone plan but Hell Atlantic didn't tell me that the ISP which is only 2 miles away, 2 towns over and in the same area code was not considered local. I ran up a $400 dial up phone bill and bitched them out. They forgave me after getting reamed by me. They then warned me to use a closer POP and I asked them if a certain one was considered local. They told me it was. The next month I get another huge bill and after bitching them out, they told me that only the east side of that town was local. The west was out of area. Again I bitched them out about what kind of stupid rules they had. They again forgave the bill.

He should talk to the phone company IMO.

my take on the legal aspect is that because i agreed to pay $14 a month for local service and that i wouldnt make long distance calls that is all i should have to pay. moreover he sublet the phone to me without knowing that he was on a per minute charge, which makes it his responsibility.

Why did you even bother asking if your mind is made up. If you were my friend, I'd kick about $700 worth of crap out of you, which might take years, as it seems you aren't worth all that much.
LMFAO 😀

Don't 100% agree with the sentiment, but I loved it! nunnyabiznickz is OK in my book.

This isn't black and white. I think you should try to come to some agreement. He didn't handle things well, but that doesn't make him responsible for YOUR charges.

The best thing would be split the bill. If you can't do that, you should come up with something more fair than "Here's 40 bucks, good luck with the other $660."
