Repost, but nonetheless... I don't see how this guy expects his sculptures to live on forever without human intervention. All they do is move back and forth.

I guess I did, too. This guy thinks he's designing autonomous life. He's simply got a bunch of PVCs to pivot in an orchestrated way when the wind blows them.

It does look interesting but we've had sail boats for thousands of years. This is basically just a sailboat that happens to walk. I think the reason this hasn't been done before is not because nobody could but nobody wanted to.
