Crazy monitor setup

My google and search skills are failing me this morning.

Anyone remember the poster who had the crazy monitor setup and posted it with himself and a sign proving other members wrong? If you can post the picture I'd appreciate it.

The good old days!

Crazy how things have changed since then. Triple monitor setups are fairly common now and you'll see plenty of those loaded with as much (or more) gear than trygve has in that shot. Would be rad to see an updated setup of your shot trygve!

very impressive. Especially your ability to flex, hold the sign level, focus on the camera, and push the button at the same time.

Those were the good old days. Where can I get some of those jeans??!!

If we are speaking about the setups, is there any thread on AT where they are posted frequently by users? Not sure if the linked one is the official or very old.

my setup at home 🙂

three 40" westinghouse monitors...The one on the left is hooked up to my pc, the one on the right is connected my work laptop's docking station and the one in the middle can toggle between either...

I only connected all three monitors to my home pc for this pic (since my video card has a VGA, DVI and HDMI) just to see what it would look like...

I guess that's a crazy monitor set up if it was early 2000s or something.

Now days, it's sloppy.

Don't make me post a pic of my 24/7 4 PC Lan set up......

I have six 24" monitors at work =p

Though I'd trade em for three vertical 30" monitors.. six is just too much hardware clutter

Haha nice. We'd like to have more, but there's no way to get more on a single PC. it's low profile PCs so you can't put high end video cards in them. I have to overlap most windows just so I can see everything. Takes a good 45 minute to setup when I start a new set of shifts.

With only 3 monitors you'd lose lot of pixel real estate though. I don't care about big monitors, I rather have lot of small ones for more room for windows. I wish they'd stop making them bigger and actually make them higher resolution instead. A 30" that is equivalent to 4 monitors would be awesome. Then get 4 of those. 😛

he wont see this thread 🙁

as for NIK- Last Activity: 06-17-2006 😱

That's an old account. He was banned as a result of the same thread as Mosh and GodlessAstronomer in 2011, the infamous, "am I supposed to be able to see mod forums?" thread. Or at least I think that's why, seeing as his last post was in the thread. It's possible he got banned because of something else.
