I disagree. I was in Northern CA for more than a week around Christmas and the prices for just about everything are considerably higher than up here. Gas, soda, food (both restaurant and grocery), etc. The price of gas was much higher. The price of regular down there was higher than the price of premium here.Originally posted by: Amol

BTW (just venting here), fsck you CalTrans for a more than 5 hour delay in your "tire-chain check" lines just so I could take an AWD car up over a mountain pass with almost no snow on it. <^>:|
