No, he didn't say it, you did, right here:

If he creates a ramdisk, puts his program there and then removes the swapfile completely, he will have his and your benefits combined.

He's wanting to do this to increase gaming performance. With no pagefile, the majority of games won't run at all. That's where they cache their data, to the pagefile.

Is there an optimal size for a ramdisk-based pagefile? I mean, you want enough room that you don't run out of space, but you also don't want to steal too much from normal ram use.

Let's say we have 4GB on XP32, how much would you convert to a ramdisk and how much of that would you allocate to the pagefile (want some for browser cache & tmp/temp folders too)? What happens if your "pagefile" runs out of room?
