I witnessed one of those back in 1995. I was in a large public swimming pool, when all of a sudden a swirrelling wind came down from the sky sucked up some water from the pool, chased a few people around (there were 100s of people there) and danced back and forth from land to water then suddenly disappated. It wasnt as thick as the one in the video, but cool to watch nonetheless. I stood shocked in the water as it happened. It lasted about 45secs to a min. There was also an airshow a few miles away. I wondered if that caused the turbulence. :shocked:
