First, calm down. This isn't the worst thing that your child is going to do. ;)

Second, who cares? :p Get it out for your own sake, it doesn't matter if you're renting it, unless you're only going to be staying there for a few months or something. If you live there for any significant amount of time, they will replace the carpet anyway.

My child never did that. :p

I second that suggestion. Time to nurture this kid to become the next Rembrandt. That way at least the next area of carpet her crayons touch would at least be something more tangable to look at. That or it will discourage the kid to take up medicine... :p

LOL no.... i have a daughter from a previous relationship... ive only KNOWN OCNewbie for like 9 months... a child is not plausible... but maybe in a few more years. haha

I see GiggleGirl, well make him prove that he loves you and have him clean up the mess!

That's hilarious!

I wouldn't enjoy it if it were my carpet, but its not! :p Seriously, your child thinks big and outside the [crayola] box, and that's a good thing. In about 15 years, you'll both have lots of laughs for years to come. :)

Or give her more crayons and let her at the window dressings, so that the carpet matches the drapes.

I always heard that it was an iron and a paper bag, not wax paper. Used it once with red wax on a placemat and it worked well. There was an oil mark of some type leftover that came out with a little rubbing alcohol.

That's what I've heard too, but I asked my wife, and she suggested calling a carpet cleaning place.
