2 x kingston value ram 512mb pc3200
XFX 6800GT 256 mb grahic card (67.03 drivers)
160Gb maxtor sata.
Windows sp2
temps all look okay
Still getting random crashes with Error code 0000009c, parameter1 00000004, parameter2 80545ff0, parameter3 b2000010, parameter4 00010c0f.
Tried loads
Switching off fast write
agp 4x and 8x
set from turbo to standard
Tried various mem tests for hours with no errors
prime 95 on cpu with no errors
friend ran my 6800 for an hour and half on 3d mark and doom 3 ok
(doom 3 did run okay on my system for 3 weeks and i thought it was a direct 3 d problem as only d3d games were crashing.half life 2 crashed after 10 mins one day and then runs for 2-3 hours the next day)counter strike no crashes.
have been told various ways to install and set up. Does anyone have the ideal installation guide for setting up.
Bios settings. disabling hardware.Installing windows xp pro.drivers (4 in 1, nvidia) service pack 2
Any help is appreciated
