My GeForce3 (with 28.32 drivers) either locks up or BSODs at the Vertex Shader part of 3DMark2001SE. Any ideas on what could be the problem? I rolled back the drivers to 23.12 to no avail. All of the rest of the tests run fine. Could it be a DirectX problem?

I'm running:

WinXP home
1.2 Athlon
512MB ram
Asus GeForce3 w/28.32
Newest 4 in 1s

I'm out of my league here, so I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Uninstall and reinstall 3dmark. It has gotten buggy on me before and that fixed it.

Yep, I already tried that. Still freezes up in the middle of the vertex shader part.

I'm not so much worried that my benchmarking software is buggy, but rather that this is diagnostic of something wrong with my computer.

That is usually a sign that system is not setup to run correctly with that combination.
Normally, just going into Bios and increasing vcore will solve the problem.
