ok people heres a ? for ya.

have you ever installed a program, and suddenly your icons, and startbar are gone, but your background remains, then comes back up a second or so in XP. what is that called an IE crash? or Windows Crash?

well here is the thing.. i just bought a brand new Asus A8V Deluxe mobo with an Athlon 64 3200+

after installing a few games. suddenly the icons and start bar are gone, then come back..

i checked in my event viewer.. and there is no warning or error.. whats up with this? do any of you know whats going on?
 
Is the software legit? If not, you might want to get started on the antivirus scanning 😉
 
That's an "explorer.exe" crash :thumbsup: Or it being closed forcefully (😉) for some reason. It restarts itself when it's closed, usually.
 
yeah everything i have is legit(i know that sounds like im lying but im serious)

and i do have an antivirus running.. and your right its explorer.exe

now i was reading again and i found plenty of sites talking about

restarting windows without restarting your machine..

im wondering if that after i install the software, that it does a windows restart..
