crap! why doesn't bootblock work?!

I was just trying to flash a bios with one of those modified epa logos (don't laugh) and everything seemed to go fine, except apparently something was corrupt about that bios. when I boot up I get bootblock. I put a floppy in with awdflash and a known good bios and it starts the awdflash programand shows a status indicator, it never displays a bar...just a blinking cursor at the last block of the indicator. also my floppy led is solid, but not reading anything. I've tried pressing all kinds of keys, but still it does nothing. however, even though it says "DO NOT REBOOT OR POWER OFF!!!" I can reboot and get back to the "bootblock 1.0" screen. Prob is, it won't flash my bios!
