b/c it has to be around 25 pages. I only have 5.

Maybe I should change my topic to DMCA or something:disgust:

I take it you've never learned how to fluff a writing assignment. :) 2 things that will add fluff and space to your paper is to include a lot of history about each item talked about and the issue as a whole.

Second is the ever wonderful double space. :D

Great suggestion! Never thought of adding history to fluff up a paper.

The funny thing is that all school year we've had to make papers a certain amount of pages and that I've had to cut a bunch out. For this paper, I have to make up a bunch of BS, which I haven't had to do in along time.

There is no case law on this topic, so I can't use cases. I was thinking of doing the paper on the DMCA instead b/c at least I can find some cases and lawsuits to take up some space. I've put so much research into the P2PPPA already that I don't want to ditch it. Plus, it has to be done in a week.

Oh heavens yes. Learned lots of tricks like that to fluff papers because I had the same issue writing big papers like that in college. It usually made pulling off that many pages a whole lot easier if I could make it hard to keep the paper within less than 25 pages rather than fighting to get the 25 pages. :)

Some other hints -- don't use double spacing, use 2.1 or 2.2 spacing. Use 1.05 inch margins. You can also play with the kerning settings to give yourself extra space between each letter. Good luck. On a 25 page paper, you can probably make it at least 3 pages longer by doing the above.

Its funny how this thread is turning into "How to Turn Your 5 Page Paper Into a 25 Page Paper" Thread.

Thanks!

Don't forget to switch to Courier New Font, that'll give you some extra space :)

Always research various topics BEFORE you pick them. Much easier writing.

I once wrote a 25 page paper on the topic of "Is Patriotism a Virtue?". Not sure if that counts :)

At least you don't have to write it in IEEE format. Two columns, single spaced, 10pt Times.

hell, if you REALLY want to make it long, include the whole The Digital Millennium Copyright Act...word for word. 59 pages long.
