My best friend wants a new V6 RAV4 as well to replace his craptastic '02 Blazer. He's been asking me like every couple of days when they're coming in

Dude, even if it had a low range transfer case it wouldn't be a good off road vehicle. It's CAR BASED and has full independent suspension.

How was it?

It was a great drive. The size is so much better on the inside. I'm about 6'1" and I actually had to move the seat up a little after just assuming I needed to slide it all the way back. I also sat in the back seat with the front seat pushed all the way back and it was very comfortable. I really had zero complaints, except I didn't like the green metallic color or whatever.

The one i test drove was the 4-cyl 4x4 Base model. It had some upgrades like 17" rims, side airbags, roofrack and some other stuff. The MSRP was $23,495 i believe.
