Anyone know how bad this stuff is?

UPDATE:

Just got back from the animal hospital where they ran some tests, xrays, and a few other things. Everything came back normal except his red blood cell count was high. He said this is normal in dogs though, and just to be safe to bring him back in tommorow to get it checked again. If it changes, we know its from the Silver, if not he's in the clear.

He said he seems to be perfecly healthy though and is as active and healthy as any other dog. THANK GOD. I'll post back tomm after we get the second blood test, but thank you all again, i really appreciate it.

BTW, to those asking why i had the time to post the thread. I had some time while waiting on hold with poison control, waiting for him to throw up, and also time time waiting for the animal hospital to call me back. Believe me, I wasnt wasting ANYTIME whatsoever... He's my baby, i love him

It's poisonous. Get him/her to the vet ASAP. Do you have any Ipacac by any chance? If so, feed that to the dog to get it to vomit before it is absorbed into his system.

I'd call Artic Silver as well and see what they say. Surely this isn't the first time someone's pet has eaten it.

go now.

Important Precautions
Don't put it in your mouth.
Don't give it to children or leave it where children can get a hold of it.

Keep it away from pets.

Follow the instructions at the bottom of this page to clean it off of yourself, your CPU, and other hardware.

I would go to the vet right away.. Hell if chocolate can kill a dog...

Yeah go to the vet to be safe.

Chocolate can kill a dog but it takes quite a bit to do so. It also depends on of its bakers chocolate or sweetened. Bakers chocolate is much worse 2oz or so can kill the animal sweetened choclate on the other hand takes a pound or so. This was told to me by my vet after a scare with my dog.

I'm inducing vomiting at the moment.... There is still a good amount left in the 3.5g tube and i washed a bunch off his feet, so i really dont think he ate that much....

The vet said they can take x-rays to check for silver, but with such a small amount they dont know if it will even show up. They are seeming like all we can do is observe him, not really give him anything for it...

Check to see if he's running cooler..

Put a copper heatsink on his head and see if the Heat dissapates faster..

You might need panaflo fan if you want to overclock him..

jk

hope he's ok..

Considering that dogs like to eat crap I don't think a few licks of some arctic silver will be a problem. Good call in going to a vet though, it's better to be safe than sorry.

What kind of dog and how big is it?

Based on that MSDS I'd say you have nothing to worry about.

Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, around 38lbs

He threw up just fine and is acting totally normal right now, running around and trying to get me to play.

Im heading over to the vet in 2 mins to go get xrays and bloodwork done. Their not as much concerned with him having major problems, they are just worried about his kidney/liver.

BTW, he says *woofwoof* (translation, thanks)... Thanks for the help guys, i REALLY appreciate all the help (ESPECIALLY JOSHSQUALL). We went over the MSDS with the poison control and it helped a TON.... I can never thank you guys enough...

Ill post an update when we get back from the vet.

Awaiting update, glad to hear it doesn't seem serious
