Crank

Yeah, it does look pretty good.

Jason Statham isn't doing his terrible American accent.

Jason Statham is like the genetically engineered lovechild of Jackie Chan and Bruce Willis, raised in a secret lab in England. The guy does most of his own stunts, is supremely suave and cool (while being bald), and most of his films have horrible plots that are saved by virtue of the awesome action which lies therin. Yeah, he's not going to win any Oscars for his performance, but he's fun to watch.

I'm looking forward to this flick. It's probably going to be a weak plot filled with all sorts of holes, but if you think about it the entire point of the plot is to serve as an excuse for non-stop action. When I see a Jason Statham flick I go for the action, and that's exactly what this movie is supposed to deliver. Apparently it's kind of like a "back to basics" movie; minimal character introspection, minimal plot, just explosions and guns and fights and car chases. It's like Serious Sam for movies. I am so there.

went and saw this flick today...the production quality was crappy in parts but this was like the ultimate sit back and watch a ton of action movie.
Great guy movie. I mean for gods sake he gets a bj while being fired at during a car chase  need i say more?

it gets a 4 out of 5 stars from me. defiantely worth the price of a matinee

just got back. LOVED IT

its a summer movie that knows thats all it is.

paper thin plot, funny as hell and ****** tons of boobs, gore and action

It's pretty funny at times, rarely slow, bloody and cool. It's what it says it is- Chev Chelios has to keep his adrenaline up or else he dies; to do this he kills people and engages in other pleasures of life- mostly killing though. It is a guy movie.

Seriously horrible movie....i want the 2 hours of my life back....and Amy Smart actually made the movie go from suck, to one of the worst movies ever.....did I mention I want my $11 back also. Now I didnt expect much going to see it, but I expected more than what was flung at the screen....I dont reccomend this movie to anyone. Ugh....I want my 2 hours back.

How did she make it worse? She was hot, especially when getting banged in Chinatown with a crowd of people cheering 😀

This movie does not take itself that seriously. It's just an action flick. Don't expect too much.

Throw out her character, the lame sex scene in Chinatown...it would of been better without it. And like I said, I didnt take it serious, and it still sucked. The over the top stunts. Why did he take of his underwear to put on the hospital gown? Why did he shock himself? Why did the motorcycle magically catch on fire after like 10 minutes? That helicopter was never that high up. If you are going to make crap, at least make it believable crap.

And why did the word c**t appear on his forehead? Who cares, that's not the point.

That was just part of the movie's very cool cinematography.

movie was hilarious. i like the part in that chinese warehouse where he gets shot in the leg, and then proceeds to walk/run around as if nothing ever happened. 😛 lol

many believeability problems, but who cares. it was a funny movie and good entertainment.

Fact is, opening scene of the movie, when he picks up the TV, it wasn't plugged in to anything. That should instantly tell you that this film is about entertainment, not authenticity.

I just got back from seeing this film (in England). This is the first film in England whereby the audience(well, the men in said audience) were actually laughing out loud in parts. It was fantastic entertainment.

hmmm it's a movie not real.

all those men were probably thinking they could do all the same stunts with a few days in the gym.
